Case Study: Diseased Tree Removal, Syon Park

This case study demonstrates the removal of diseased trees. The shots were taken at the end of Summer 2008 in Isleworth.

Common Lime (Tilia x Europaea)

Here we have a mature Common Lime with a large cavity at the base of the tree. As it did not have enough safe holding wood it was deemed as being unsafe and consequently had to be felled.

London Plane (Platanus x Hispanica)

This 200 year old London Plane had been affected by Ganoderma, and unfortunately had to be removed.
